Supported Independent Living

Supporting independence at home and in the community.

The Supported Independent Living (SIL) program provides personalized, home-based support to help individuals live safely, confidently, and as independently as possible. Our staff work directly with participants in their own homes, offering guidance and skill development tailored to each person’s goals, abilities, and daily living needs.

SIL focuses on building practical life skills while encouraging independence, choice, and active participation in the community.

Home-based supports provided

  • Daily living and household skill development (cleaning, cooking, routines)
  • Budgeting and money management support
  • Scheduling and appointment organization
  • Community access and navigation
  • Personal goal setting and independence planning
  • Social and communication skill development
  • Wellness and healthy living support

Through consistent, individualized support, participants gain confidence, strengthen independence, and develop the skills needed to maintain stable and fulfilling lives at home.
