Before you give — the rules
Only personal contributions from residents of Manitoba can be accepted. Each individual may give up to a total of $5,000 per year across all provincial political causes. Contributions from corporations, unions and out-of-province donors are not permitted.
- Maximum $5,000 per individual, per year, across all provincial political causes.
- Contributions must come from an individual's own funds — not a business, union, or another person's money.
- You must be a resident of Manitoba.
- Political contributions are not charitable donations, but a Manitoba tax credit may apply.
